SPORTS For Months people were saying ‘I'll be in Auckland for the Maori match. At the railway station in Wellington, the day before the match there were no less than three ‘Maori Specials’ waiting to take excited, enthusiastic supporters to Eden Park. Hill (New Zealand Maoris) and Claassen (South Africa) jump high for the ball in a lineout during the Springbok-Maori match on August 25, Stan F. Hill, vice-captain of the Maori team, also played in the first, third and fourth tests and in the Springbok-Canterbury match as a forward lock.
