Thirty finalists will be selected nationally to attend the two-day workshop in Auckland and Christchurch. A winner from each region will then be selected to have their recordings released on an EP by one of the RIANZ member record companies. ' ■ Criteria for Entry 1 Applicants to be a New Zealand resident or citizen. 2 Applicants to supply a demo audio cassette which contains a minimum of 4 recordings. 3 Recordings to be of original material. ‘ ' 4 Applicants to supply 4 (four) copies of the demo cassette, along with a one page overview of the artist/group and photograph; - / ' . Judging The panel of judges will be made up of a representative from a record company, music publisher, recording artist and producer/engineer.
