Nirvana-Likes Nonsense
I was reading the article on Loud Lucy, and how, ‘they are on the road to fame’, in the May RipltUp. Can’t Geffen stop dreaming and realise there has always been one Cobain, Grohl and Novoselic. All this shit about Geffen thinking of attempting to market Loud Lucy as the next Nirvana makes me sick. Of course no band has been as good as Nirvana, and no singer as good as Cobain. Same with Silverchair, I mean, they don’t even remind me of Nirvana. Where is all this hallucinating coming from? Even though some people want Nirvana-like music, it doesn’t mean they should bring the good stuff back into young bands, ’cause these bands just stuff it all up and make everybody dream. I love Kurt Cobain and his music will never be forgotten. Let KC RIP. And to the Nirvana fans — remember, no one can become another Kurt Cobain! Chick of Revenge, Manurewa.
