Graeme Hill has returned as breakfast host replacing Mikey Havoc who will now take over the drive show on Wednesdays and Fridays. Planet editor Russell Brown will host the news and current affairs show The Wire on Tuesdays and Marcus Lush has returned to Talkback on Sunday nights. Nevada Resources Energy Merge I Hamiltoni Ibased I imedia company Nevada Resources has merged with Energy Enterprises, owners of New Plymouth’s Energy FM and Tauranga’s Coastline FM. Nevada Resources owned Hamilton stations Rock93FM, Buzzard, Radio Waikato and New Plymouth’s Rock 100. The directors Grant Hislop, Joe Dennehy and Martin Dempster are now shareholders in the
seven stations Energy group. Radio Waikato was not part of the deal and was sold to an outside party. With the merger Zoo Studio and Hark Records have been purchased by Rock93FM programme director Grant Hislop. Darren McLean is General Manager of both these ventures. Zoo Studios will set up a digital video edit suite with camera facilities to specialise in TVCs and music video clips.
