Chainsaw Masochists have replaced guitarist Debbie with Sue Bridges, who is also in Bi-Plane, bassist Darren has been replaced by ex-Psychic Love Stero Paul Lack. Bi-Plane are recording six tracks at York St this month and have a few gigs in the offing. Bi-Plane are now a four piece with Kirt Ensor, Rob Scott, Murray from the Masochists and Sue... Sticky Filth have recorded five songs at the Chicken Farm for local cassette release... Jules (Prolapse, ex-Second Child) and Lance (ex-Spud, Freak Power, currently in Lube etc) are forming a new band and looking for a singer and bass player. Phone Lance at 3762956 or Jules at BFM or 360 1113... stolen from the Hunters and Collectors gig on Wednesday, May 5, a fender power chorus guitar amplifier. Reward offered for info, double reward if the thief is crippled. Contact Trevor at Pagan Records 3023-228... Shaft are in preproduction for a single and CD release at Frisbee. They're also in residency at Bob bar with Rainy Days every Sunday night. The gigs are being recorded for a live album later this year... Lance (of Lube) is now drumming for Rainy Days and Gestalt (where is that triple album Bob?) since Steve disappeared south... the third issue of Desperate Dea/ is out now featuring Maree Sheehan, JPSE, Super Chunk, Upper Hut Posse and Figure 60 . . . the Powerstation now has an all-ages license for underage gigs.
