DEAD FLOWERS

Be Someone (Wildside) Dead Flowers keep getting heavier and heavier! 'Be Someone' opens with some naughty backward recording and a guitar riff worthy of Badmotorfinger. Heavy sounds, heavy lyrics, but a bit bitsy and piecey as a song. The rest of this four song CD showcases the band's varied style. 'Underground' appears on the forthcoming album, it'ssloweranddreamier.'Skinof AStone'and 'Where Would I Be Now' are bonus tracks, not on the album. The first one ends with a big long stadium rock guitar solo and the second one will be of interest to a lot of girls because it's sung and played by the mysterious Damon and it's acoustic and kind of personal and kind of sweet.
