FLYING NUN TRADING CARDS

Flying Nun's cassette sized pack of trading cards is just dinky —a pocket size potted history of the label, the bands, the people, the places that made it happen—some 41 cards decorated with

groovy FN graphics, cartoons and grainy photos in turquoise, black and white with explanatory text on the back. "We thought it would be a good fun thing to do" explains Roger Shepherd. Our

favourite is the plain black one in homage to that colour's pre-eminence in Dunedin: ("all those people in black jerseys had a pretty good time in the 1980 s. They were HAPPY people. Truly"

says the card). The cards will be available in their plastic cassette case in a shop near you soon, sold as a set.
