We noticed with interest that in R.L.U n 0.165 your singles writer Kerry -
Buchanan described the NM.E. as “a bunch of elitest dickheads”. We found - this slur on that magazine’s inherent credibility rather incongruous, coming as it did from possibly the world’s worst music writer. We will be the first to
admit that the N.M.E. is in some
respects flawed, but we also feel that any given writer on it is eons ahead of KB in terms of skill. Indeed, he is, as the N.M.E. would say, “Fucking shite” and we wish he would go away for a long time.. Yours The General Population of New Zealand
