Return of Chills
Joining Martin Phillipps in the Chills (phase 10) are drummer Caroline Easther, well known through her work with Beat Rhythm Fashion, the Spines, the Verlaines, Circus Block Four and Let’s Planet. On keyboards is Andrew Todd from Auckland, and new bassist is Justin Harwood, formerly with Big Sideways. A new double-A sided single ‘The Great Escape’ b/w ‘I Love My Leather Jacket’ is being released on Flying Nun. Following a New Zealand tour, in early February the new Chills fly out for their European tour.
