Byng and Harris* High-street, Dunedin, 22 pieces ol silk handkerchiefs, some of them white china the others fancy pattern; and 2 pieces of white silk, 12 yards in each.' Stolen between the hours of 8 p m. the '9th, and 8 a.m. the 10th December, 1863, -'from- off a buggy, which, was left in Park-street, Dunedin, a canvas cover, 12x10, marked by’the rust, from the wheels the property of Mr. Robert Gillies, of Park-street.
Stolen between the 12th and 16th December,- 1863, from : a' box which'had' been lvfic under the verandah of the officers’ quarters at the Military Barracks, Dunedin, about 80 volumes of books," the -property .of George. Abrams, Esq.; many of them had been school and college prizes, awarded to him, and - bore, the (arms of - Clare College. , The following formed a portion:— Keat’s Poetical Works' illustrated, Southey’s do., Kirkwhite’s Poems, 1 liallam’s Middle Muller’s Greek, Literature, Hood’s Poems, . Coleridge’s do., Keddell and Scott’s Greek Lexicon, > and. 2 . Thermometers, maximum and minimum, by Regretti and Zambui.
