Next week the popular pastor of Queenstown, Rev. Father J. F. O'Donnell, will celebrate the. silver jubilee of his ordination to the priesthood, and his parishioners have decided that the occasion shall not be. allowed to pass without giving ..tangible expression to the deep affection in which they hold him, tenderinghim their warmest felicitations on the completion of twenty-five years of incessant labor in the vineyard of the 'Lord. His eighteen years of self-sacrificing devotion and unswerving loyalty lo duty amongst the Catholics of Queenstown have endeared him to every heart, and his people feel they should be greatly lacking in filial devotion were they to allow the occasion to pass without showing their appreciation of the tender care he has so generously lavished upon them. Accordingly, tiny have decided to mark the important event in the life of their pastor by the presentation of an address, which will be accompanied by a purse of sovereigns. The presentation is to take place on Tuesday evening, June 23.
