DEATH OF A CARDINAL. An American exchange reports the death of Cardinal Capecelatro, Archbishop of Capua, who was raised to the Sacred College in 1885. Born at Marsiglio, February 1824, he discharged the highest offices of the Congregation of the Oratory at Naples, and, eventually, became its superior. In 1880 Mgr. Capecelatro was made Archbishop of Capua, where, aside from pastoral cares, he found time to attend to the publication of works from his own pen.
