BURNS
The head of a family who thought to save some of his hard-earned dollars by trying out simple home remedies when one of his household became ill, came in a few nights ago with a book under his arm, which he handed to his wife, remarking:
‘ Here is a. work on burns. I found it at an ' auction this afternoon. As one of the children is almost sure to get burned some day, I thought it " would be a good investment. Look it over carefully and be prepared; in case of an accident.’ The wife opened the volume dutifully and then exclaimed: ‘How odd! It’s all poetry!’
