The Marist Brothers’ Old Boys’ Association (writes our Christchurch correspondent) are now in occupation of their new rooms, situated on the top flat of a fine block on the corner of Manchester and Worcester streets. The position is most central and suitable, easily accessible, alike to members residing in either the Cathedral or St. Mary’s parishes. Opening out from a spacious landing is a large social hall, billiard room, and committee room, all well furnished and appointed. The rooms are open nightly, and largely attended, social gatherings being frequently arranged. To fill in the time pending the arrival of the M. 8.0.8. Concert Company on last Wednesday evening, a progressive euchre tournament was carried out, the prizes being won by Miss Murray and Mr. Golding. 1
