How's This?
'What's the matter with Nelson's evening ptaper ? We have been for the past three weeks patiently waiting for the paroxysms which we were entitled to expect from it over the Waltham Orphanage. But the little ' Thunderer ' remains about as phlegmatic and undemonstrative as a door-mat. It ' erupted ' like Vesuvius over the Stote charges. What's the matter with itsi ' works ' now ? Are we to assume that its over-hasty and explosive ' humanitarianism ' can only be ' got-off ' against orphanage administrations that happen to be Catholic? Have, orphan children no human feeling 'i ez fur away ez Waltham is ' ? Or do neglect and 'misery' and maladministration become virtues when they are perpetrated by. Charitable Aid Boards and their employees ?
