Messrs. Wright, Stephenson, and Co. t report as follows :— As was to be expected, alter the previous two days' sale, the en.try fox Saturday was small, and the 'quality very poor, on the whole. There was a fairly vg/ocd ,ajtte)ndiattice of the public, and a few buyers were on band, but as> most of the horses forwaird weijo riot of the class in^ request, very litftle business restulted. We Quote : Superior young draught geldings, at from £50 to £55 ; extra good do (prize h<orses)v £56 to £65 ; superior young dnatoght mares, £60 to £75 ; medium draught mares and geldings, £30 to £45 ; aged do, £17 to £30 ; upstatoding carrfiajgfi horses., £25 to £35 ; welUmftitched catriagie pairs,, £80 to £100 ; strong spring-van horses, £30- to £35 ; milk-cart attld bjutchers' order-oait houses, £20 to £28 ; light hacks, £10 to £18 ; extra good hacks, £20 to £30 ; weedy and aged hacks and harness horses, £5 to £8.
