ADDINGTON STOCK MARKET.

At the Aldington yards there were fairly large eniries of stock, in nearly all departments, and there was a gooft attendance. Beef sold at about the previous week's r&tes, and there was no change in the values 'of prime fat' lambs. Store sheep, except wethers, were firmer, "but pigs' of all classes were dull of sale. Rhodes (Ofra'huma) made from £9 19s to £10 10s ; 14 from Mr. T. Chapman (Mount Somers), £8 15s to £9 15s ; 8 steers from Mr. C. D. Crossley (HawarSen), £6 10s to £8 12s 6ti ; 7 heifers from Mr. Billing (Port Levy), £4 15s to £5, and 10 cows £4 7s 6d to £5 7s Gd ; and 6 steers! from an Ashitturton 1 client, £5 10s to £8 151s other steers brought £5 17s 6d to £9, heifers £5 5s to £8 12s 6W, ajid cows £4 17s 6d to £6 ss, etq,ual to fl-om 19s to 21s for prime and 16s to 18s for cow and inferior beef per 100 ft. A medium yarding of v^al oalves sold at from 7s 6d to £2. Pigs.— There was a fairly large yarding, all classes meeting with a very dull sale. Baconers made from 42s to 50s, and heavier weights to 565, equal to 3|d and extra prime 4d per ft ; porkers, 25s to 325, equal to 4-d per ft : large storesi, 20s to 24s ; medium, 12s 6d to 18s ; weaners, 2s 6d to 7& ©d.
