OBITUARY

MR. JOHN McMULLIN

On Tuesday of last week the sad intelligence was received in Dunedin of the death at Propaganda College, Rome, of Mr. John McMullin, whose parents reside at Arthur's Point, Queenstown. The deceased, who was a most talented, promising, and amiable young man, studied for some time at Holy Cross College, Mosgiel, and left for Rome a little over two years ago. Hemorrhage of the lungs brought about the complaint which was the immediate cause of his early and lamented death. The authorities at Propaganda College did everything for him that medical science could suggest, but without avail, and he passed away, to the great sorrow of his fellowstudents, by whom he was highly esteemed. To his relatives fri their bereavement we extend our most sincere sympathy. — R.I. P.
