Mesbrs. Wiight, Stcphenson and Co. report a<? follows • — We had a a very email entry of horses for Saturday's sale — some half-dozen draughts and 12 or l."> medum hacks and harness horse*. The draughts, which were useful horses, sold at LI3, L:W, L3l, L3O, L 25, and L 23. The light horses were an inferior lot, and very few of them changed hands. The demand for good horses of all classes continues very satisfactory, and sales of fresh, sound young horses »re not difficult to effect. We quote : — Superior young draught geldings, L 45 to LSO ; extra, good, prize horses, L 52 to L 57 ; medium draught mares and geldings, L 35 to Ll2; aged do, L 22 to L 32;3 2; upstanding carriage horses, L 25 to L3O ; well-matched carriage pairs, LSO to L7O; strong spring van horsea, L2"> toL3<>; milk cart and butchers' order cart horses, Ll."> to L2i> : tram horses, 1.0 to Lit ; light hacks, LG to LS ; extra good do, LI 8 to L 25 ; weedy and aged hacks and harness horses, L 2 to L 5.
