North Adelaide, on a Sunday afternoon recently, the Dominican Fathers were made the recipients of a phaeton, a set of harness and a fine-looking mare, the gifts of their parishioners, of whom there was a large gathering. J. Townsend, of West Australia, proposed it, and the chief president replied. On the following evening the deputies were entertained by the St. Ignatius' branch of the society, at Richmond.
