Pebhaps nothing could afford better evidence of the good the late mission has wrought amongst us than the numbers of members of the congregation who approached the altar rails on Sunday last to partake of Holy Communion. Rev Father McKenna expressed hit de^p gratification at the eiifying eieb', and bis fervent hopes that it was a sure indication of tbe earnest perseverance of the members of his flick in the grod resolutions they had formed. The usual monthly meeting of the Hibernian Society wai held in 8c Patrick's Schoolroom, on Tuesday night— Bro H. J. O'Leary presiding. The motion-paper for the approaching half-yearly meeting of the District Board was carefully considered, and tha secretary was instructed to give no ice to the district secretary to appoint a delegate, who should vote in accorUnce with the decisions arrived at by the Branch on 'he various questions. 1 have been informed that tbe Vincentmn mission in tbe FortyMile Bush has been very successful, and that the services were io every case remarkably well attended.
