A FASHIONABLE WEEDING.

Grey mouth, Angust 21. There was quite an imposing assemblage on August 13 at St Patrick's Church, Greymouth, to witness the marriage of Mr P. H. Kilgour to Miss Prances Mary Hannan, daughter of Mr Denis Hannan and sister of Mr Michael Hannan, the well-known and popular solicitor. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked very graceful, and wore a most elegant white silk drew, with court train handsomely trimmed with lace and orange blossoms. The usual tulle veil, with spray of orange blossoms, completed a most magnificent toilet. The bridesmaids, who also looked very nice, consisted of Misses Nellie and Maggie Hannan (sisters of the bride), Misses Amelia and Ada Kilgour (sisters of the bridegroom), Misses Alice and Eileen Hannan (nieces of the bride). Miss N. Hannan wore a white China silk dress, trimmed with moss green plush and white floral bonnet ; Miss M. Hannan, cream flowered cashmere, trimmed with lace and cream ribbon, hat of ;wbice brussels net with cream ribbon ; Misses Amelia and Ada Kilgour, silver gray cashmere, trimmed with cream, bats of cream arapbane. The two little girls,' Alice and Eileen Hannan, looked very pretty in Kate Greenaway dresses of cream pongu Bilk, with salmon-pink sashes, pretty cream hats, with pink bows, carrying a basket of forget-me-nots and p»nsies ; and Mrs M. Hannan wore an elegant dress of sea-green cashmere, handsomely braided with gold on cream, pretty floral bonnet, with sea-green ribboa ; Mrs D. Hannan (mother of the bride), beantiful black mMre" dress ; Mrs W. Kilgour (mother of bridegroom), very nice black caahmere dress ; Mr A. Kilgour acting as best man. The party then returned to the residence of the bride's parents, where a sumptuous.'wedding breakfast was partaken of, about 60 guests sitting down to the table, on the conclusion of which the happy pair, amidst showers of rice and good wishes, left for Hokitika to spend their honeymoon. The bride's travelling dress was a French gray caahmere, with cream floral bonnet. In the evening a ball was given, about 40 couples being present, which was kept up till the small hours of the morning, everyone seeming to enjoy themselves on such an interesting event. The wedding presents were most numerous and costly. The Rev Father Carew, S.M., officiated at the ceremony.
