AS it is contemplated to hold a GRAND FANCY FAIR and BAZAAR in connection with the Carnival, to be held in the beginning of September, in aid of the Funds of the Benevolent Institution, the Committee oE Management respectfully solicit the cooperation of the Charitable Ladies of Dunedin, who are earnestly requested to commence the Manufacture and Collection of Fancy Articles at their earliest possible convenience. 0. . PROSPECTUS Of the OTAGO SLATE COMPANY (LIMITED.) Capital £100,000 | (In 50,000 Shares of £2 each.) Calls — Two Shillings and Sixpence per Share on application ; and Two Shillings and Sixpence per Share on allotment. It is antipated that no further Calls will be made upon the Shareholders until such time as it may be found necessary to construct a Branch Railway to connect the works with the Main Line of Railway at Maheno or Otepopo. _ The present Proprietors of the Slate Quarry agree to dispose of their interest to the Company for the sum of £15,000, of which amount, according to the certificate of W. N. Blair, C.E., £7500 have been already expended in permanent works. For this sum of £15,000, the present Proprietors of the Quarry will take payment in fully paidup Shares, and undertake not to dispose of any portion of their interests for a period of two years.
