UNCLAIMED PROPERTY
Auckland.—On the 27th September last, the property described hereunder was found in possession of John Leslie Florence and Herbert Lorraine Woodham, referred to in Police Gazette, 1944, page 847, but the owners have not been located : A Rolls razor, No. B. 288713, without handle, “ J.A.H.”on rim of case ; a Hockley Abbey 100 ft. tape in leather case, No. 250, end of tape repaired and ring tied with string, initials resembling “ A.G.S.” in pencil on case with “ H.E.” scratched over them; a three-gallon cream-can made by A. Harvey and Son, Auckland, “ 159 ” over “ 12 ” stamped on it; a carpenter’s canvas tool-kit with leather handles containing the following tools : a Cheney hammer with “T” burnt in end of handle; two carpenter’s squares, one large and the other small, “ I ” cut in handle of smaller one ; a bevel with iron handle ; a 3 ft. Rabone rule ; portion of a 3 ft. Rabone rule ; a file 8 in. long ; and a No. 4 Bailey plane, iron with wooden handle which is broken.
Moera. —The bicycles described hereunder were found in Moera between 12th August and 25th September last, but the owners have not been located —(1) A gentlemen’s maroon Empire, No. 9351, Brooks saddle, front wheel missing, Clipper tire on rear wheel, rubber pedals. (2) A gentlemen’s black, No. Z.X. 9919, free-wheel back-pedalling brake, Dunlop saddle, Reidrubber tires, dynamo attached. (3) A gentlemen’s black fixed-wheel, No. E. 25514, upturned handle-bars, leather saddle, Dunlop tijes. / / j \ J qm / (\)&7Let (s!) XSJwW/* /*/
