Devonport. —3lst October last, on naval warrant for being absent from"H.M.N.Z.S. Philomel without leave, Jack William Laurance, alias Laurence, age twenty-one, height 5 ft. 6 in., stoker, native of New Zealand, fair complexion and hair, blue eyes, tattoo-mark on left forearm, scar on left hand. Auckland.4th September last, on military warrant for deserting from the Third Divisional Leave Draft, James Alexander Kelly, age thirty, height 6 ft. Of in., labourer, fair complexion, dark hair, brown eyes. /

Auckland.2lst September last, on military warrant for deserting from Mangere Crossing Camp, Eric Leslie Pepperell, age twenty-four, height 5 ft. 3| in., cheese-factory hand and labourer, good build, fair complexion, brown hair, blue eyes. if/•/•*s’

Auckland. — 14th ultimo, on military warrant for being absent from Papakura Camp without leave, Gordon Charles Langdon, age twenty, height 5 ft. 6f in., farm hand, good build, fresh complexion, brown hair, blue eyes.

Hamilton. —3oth October last, on Air Force warrant for being absent from R.N.Z.A.F. Station, Rukuhia, without leave, James Thomas Pell, age twenty-four, height 4 ft. lOf in., labourer, native of New Zealand, dark complexion and hair, brown eyes. , _ _ / /

Wellington. — lst ultimo, on military warrant for being absent from Trentham Camp without leave, William Francis Standish, age twenty-three, height 5 ft. 10£ in., seaman, native of Australia, good build, medium complexion, brown hair, hazel eyes. He may attempt to leave the Dominion. - & j I .

Christchurch. —Bth instant, on military warrant for escaping from custody, Arthur Hurndell Cunningham, age twenty-six, height 5 ft. 9 in., labourer, native of New Zealand, medium build and complexion, fair hair, blue eyes ; wearing a blue gaberdine overcoat, blue trousers, and grey hat. On above date while being escorted from Auckland to Burnham Camp he escaped from the ship “ Wahine ” at Lyttelton. He stole the clothes described above from a cabin in .which _ he left his uniform.
