Auckland. — Man (name unknown), suspected of stealing money of Norah Alexandria Hills : William Freney Keenan has been interviewed by the Christchurch police, and he admitted the offence. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 857, and 1944, page 27.)
Auckland. Evelyn Gray, alias Evelyn Adelaide Sie'minous, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount to the Whangarei police. (See Police Gazette, 1944, page 737.)
Hamilton. Frank William Clinton, failing to report for military service, has been arrested by the Dunedin police. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 871.)
Hamilton. — Robert Pieire O’Connell Hassett, inquired for, has paid his Social Security Contributions, and no further action is desired. (See Police Gazette, 1944, page 774.)
Gisborne.— Francis Wilfred Flavell, alias Edwards, failing to maintain : Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1931, page 535.)
Napier. — Reginald Hedley Grice, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Palmerston North police. (See Police Gazette, 1944, page 28.) .
Feildino.— Arthur Jeffrey Durrant, false pretences, has been arrested by the Ohakune police, (See Police Gazette, 1944, page 755.)
Otaki.— Ashton Reginald Cootes, alias Alexander Robert Cootes, referred to in Police Gazette, 1938, page 144, and Photographs, 1926, page 72, was accidentally killed at Otaki on sth instant.
Wellington. — George Lewis Ashworth, referred to in Police Gazette, 1944, page 811, and Photographs, 1943, page 31, died at Napier on 7th instant.
Wellington.— Edward Kelly, theft, has been charged with this offence by the Wellington police. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 914.)
