INQUIRIES, ETC., FROM OUTSIDE NEW ZEALAND.
Adelaide (Australia). warrant has been issued for the arrest of Rupert Gordon Russell, known as Gordon Russell, charging him that on or about the 17th March, 1937, at Adelaide, he being entrusted with certain property, to wit, Commonwealth Treasury Bonds to the value of £12,640 or thereabouts, and certificates for £8,170 preference shares in Miller Anderson’s, Ltd., of the value of £6,5()010r thereabouts, of and belonging to Allen Doolette Anderson, in order that he might apply tho same Joi; the benefit and to the 'order of the said Allen Doolette /Anderson, unlawfully . and fraudulently did convert 'same toxins Y>w,n task and benefit. Description : Age about thirty/mm, height 5 ft. 10 in., slight to medium build, dark completion and hair, small tooth-brush moustache; well dressed and well educated. Believed to have been at one time associated with the Southern British National Trust, Ltd., of New Zealand, Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide. His arrest is desired. If located an urgent communication is to be sent to the Commissioner of Police, Wellington. (P. 37/453.)
