MISSING.
Taumarunui. Since the Ist instant, Lena Catherine Brake, age seventeen, height 5 ft. 5 in., domestic, native of New Zealand, light-brown hair, blue eyes ; may be dressed in a white dress, red blazer, brown shoes and stockings, navyblue overcoat, with brown fur collar and cuffs, small black and red hat or white and red beret. She may be accompanied by James R. Molloy (who was employed on her father’s farm), age about thirty-three, height 5 ft. 6 in., labourer, native of New Zealand, medium build, round face, no front teeth ; dressed in a dark suit and overcoat, and light-coloured felt hat. Inquiry by her father, James Walter Brake, farmer, Mapiu, who desires her to return home.
Dunedin. — Clara Leighton, missing, vide Police Gazette, 1934, page 90. On the 4th instant, at Lawyer’s Head, a kit-bag, the property of the missing woman, was found, in which were photographs and written notes indicating that she intended committing suicide.
