Bulls. —Since the 27th ultimo, lan Alister Cockburn, age twenty-seven, height 5 ft. 9 in., storekeeper, native of -New Zealand, medium build, fresh complexion, dark hair; dressed in a navy-blue suit, dark tweed overcoat, black shoes, grey felt hat; wears black horn-rimmed spectacles. Seatoun. —Since the 17th ultimo, Hutu Rangi Wemyss, age twelve, school-boy, a half-caste Maori; wearing navyblue trousers, flannel singlet, grey shirt, brown stockings, black rubber shoes (no cap). Inquiry by his father, Athol Stanley Wemyss, 29 Ira Street. —JL — o//

Greymouth. Since the 22nd ultimo, John Murphy, age twenty-four, height 5 ft. 11 in., labourer, native of New Zealand, slight build, fair hair, portion of right middle-finger missing, no upper teeth; wearing a dark-brown suit with purple stripe, brown fancy socks, and a black and white blazer. The missing person informed a barman at the Railway Hotel that he would take the “Middle Span,” and a few minutes later a man (fully dressed) was seen swimming down the Grey River.
