Between the 19th and 25th February last the hut of ALFRED HORE PASCOE, Titirangi, was broken into and the following stolen therefrom : A pair of field-glasses, French make, “ Pascoe ” scratched thereon, strap attached; a nickel-plated electric torch ; a pair of grey flannel trousers ; a long-handle clothes-brush with black bristles ; a cream fuji silk shirt with “ Zealandia ” on neck ; and several handkerchiefs, may have “A. Ohakune. —On the 17th or 18th ultimo the railway-office at Ohakune was broken into, and the following, the property of THE NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT (Railways Department), stolen therefrom : Two black Russell cord summer coats, one with brass buttons with “ N Z.R.” thereon, the other with black buttons ; and a navy-blue coat with black Italian cloth lining : total value, 15s. On the 24th or 25th ultimo the Waiouru Railway-station was broken into, and the following, the property of THE NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT (Railways Department), stolen therefrom : A cheque for £2 9s. 3d. on the Bank of New Zealand, drawn by Abraham and Williams in favour of T. B. Anderson, and endorsed T. B. Anderson ; and £2 4s. ll|d. in money. Cheque identifiable.
