Kaitaia.— 6th November last, the property of GEORGE COSSON, Awanui, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled free-wheel bicycle, straight handles, Serang tire on front wheel; value, £5. Identifiable.

Newton. 22nd ultimo, from the shop of HENRY HEND - RICKSEN, 29 Karangahape Road, a gentlemen’s gold-filled keyless hunting Elgin watch, plain cases, ring at top loose ; value, £5. Identifiable.

- Takapuna. 24th November last, from Prospect Terrace, Milford, the property of ALBERT ADOLPH FOWLER, a double 9 ct. gold curb watch-chain with bronze coin pendant attached with figure 2 thereon, and £1 in money; total value, £ll. Identifiable except money.

Ponsonby.— l2th ultimo, from the Shelly Beach Baths, the property of CHARLES JOHNSON, Stonehurst, Symonds Street, a ladies’ 18 ct. gold open-face watch, key-wind, engraved cases, gold dial; and a ladies’ 9 ct. gold fine curb watch-chain, with a gold heart pendant set with a pearl and a gold seal with a fox thereon attached : total value, £5. Identifiable.

Mt. Roskill. —23rd or 24th ultimo, the property of THOMAS EORDYCE, 64 Wairiki Road, a brown suedeleather wallet, a Parliamentary Library admission-ticket, and £6 in money: total value, £6 12s. 6d. Identifiable except money.

Kingsland. —September last, from the dwelling of ELYIE PALMER, 46 Mountain View Road, a ladies 9 ct. gold cameo ring ; a gentlemen’s gold signet-ring with “ H.N.P.” thereon ; a gold curb watch-chain with circular gold pendant attached with “Nov. 3rd, 1920,” thereon and “H.N.P.” in centre: total value, £l4 10s. Identifiable.

Kingsland. —sth ultimo, from the shop of GEORGE HERBERT CHESTER, New North Road, £5 in money. Not identifiable. Suspicion is attached to Man (name unknown), age about thirty-five, height 5 ft. 9 in., medium build, fair complexion, fair hair turning grey, clean-shaved, sharp features, dimple in chin ; wearing a grey suit.

Auckland. Between the 23rd and 25th ultimo, the property of ALEXANDER JOHNSTON, Manunui, a gentlemen’s open-face silver lever watch, No. 719805, gold flowers on back and sides ; and a gold curb watch-chain with Kruger sovereign attached : total value, £l6. Identifiable. -

Auckland. —25th or 26th November last, from the Royal Court Hotel, Wynyard Street, the property of HENRY LEWIS GARRETT, £l2 10s. in money, including £6 10s. in Australian notes. Not identifiable.

Auckland. 2sth or 26th November last, from the Royal Court Hotel, Wynyard Street, the property of ROBERT KING, £3O in money. Not identifiable.

Auckland. —Between the 10th and 18th ultimo, from 10 Sherbourne Road, the property of JEAN WEIR STEWART HENRIKSEN, a ladies’ 9 ct. gold band ring set with three rubies and two diamonds, “ From A.A.S.McL.” engraved on inside ; value, £5. Identifiable. Suspicion is attached to Susan McEwing, age nineteen, height 5 ft. 5 in., fresh complexion, dark hair and eyes. She has been interviewed, but no evidence resulted.

Auckland. —31st ultimo, from a motor-car in Alexandra Park, the property of PETER JOSEPH RODGERS, 12 Windmill Road, a Popular Pressman camera with 4-5 anastigmat lens, lens-cover missing; value, £l2 10s. Identifiable.

Auckland. — 13th ultimo, from Hobson Street, the property of RAYMOND BROOKING, 18 Moa Road, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled Royal Prince bicycle, downturned handles, Dunlop tires ; value, £6. Identifiable.

Auckland. —Between the 24th and 28th ultimo the dwelling HAROLD JAMES TUCK, accountant, 25 Disraeli Street, Mount Eden, was broken into, and the following property stolen therefrom ; A ring (recovered), £1 in small coins, and a door-key; total value, £2l 2s. Newmarket. — Between the 17th and 23rd ultimo, from the garage of LIND ROSS McKENZIE MITCHELL, 118 Grafton Road, a four-cylinder Bosch magneto, with flexible disc universal joint drive ; value, £6. Identifiable.

Onehunga. Between the 31st ultimo and the 3rd instant, from a paddock in Hastie Avenue, the property of DAVID HASTIE, Mountain Road, Mangere, a light-green canvas stack-cover, size 18ft. by 19ft., with sixteen brass eyelets; value, £lO. Identifiable.

Onehunga. — On the 23rd or 24th ultimo the shop of THOMAS CHARLES TURNBULL, 175 Queen Street, was broken into, and the following stolen therefrom: Three X.V.P.K. folding-cameras ; one X Ensign box camera; a quantity of unbleached tooth-brushes, with “ The Scott ” on one side and “T. C. Turnbull ” on the other side ; a Divinia toilet-casket; a blue glass bell-shape scent-spray, gold-colour top with “ Czecho-Slovakia ” thereon; and a quantity of aspros, Roger and Gillet’s soap, Park Davis tooth-paste, &c. : total value, £22 13s. 6d. Not identifiable.

Ellerslie. —On the 4th ultimo the dwelling of ETHEL GEORGINA PEACOCK, St. Heliers Bay Road, was broken into, and the following stolen therefrom : A watch (recovered); an oval-shape gold bangle, “To Miss E. G. Peacock from Telegraph Staff, Oct. 12th, 1924,” engraved inside ; a gold ring set with a black opal; two strings of pearls ; and a necklet of pink beads : total value, £l9 2s. Identifiable. Suspicion is attached to George Hayes, age about thirty, height about 5 ft. 3 in., dark complexion; wearing a dark tweed overcoat and grey felt hat. The description is that of a man who sold the watch to a second-hand dealer.

Merger. 27th or 28th ultimo, from the Great South Road, the property of THE NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT (Public Works Department), a tent 8 ft. by 10 ft., branded “ P.W.D. No. 5,” small burned strip in back, roughly sewn ; and two tent-fiys, branded “ P.W.D. No. 6 ” : total value, £7. Identifiable.

Putaruru. — the Bth and 10th November last, the property of EMELINE MARIA DRUMMOND, 5 Parrish Road, Edendale, Auckland, a ladies’ gold half-hunting wristlet watch, No. 29647, gold dial; value, £5. Identifiable.

Waitara. —On the 11th instant the dwelling of JOSEPH HALL, Lepperton, was broken into, and £3 11s. in money and a metal watch and a curb metal watch-chain stolen therefrom ; total value, £5 Is, Identifiable except money. Suspicion is attached to Man (name unknown), age about thirty-five, height about 5 ft. 7 in., strong build, dark complexion and hair; dressed in a dark suit and grey overcoat.

Wellington. —On the 26th November last the dwelling of AUSTIN TYLER, 25 Hopper Street, was broken into, and the following stolen therefrom : £lO 10s. 6d. in money; a black money-box with gold lines; a silver coin about the size of a 2s. piece with a palm on one side; and a ladies’ gold engage-ment-ring set with five rubies and four pearls in claw setting (one or two pearls missing); total value, £l7. Oxford. — Between the Bth November last and the 17th ultimo the hut of EDWARD KENNEDY, Brown’s Rock, was broken into, and the following stolen therefrom : A gentlemen’s silver hunting Waltham watch, Roman numerals, “E. Kennedy, Waimate,” inscribed inside case; a double gold curb watch-chain, small links; and £3 10s. in money: total value, £l3 10s. Identifiable except money. Suspicion is attached to ChisnoE, age about thirty, height about 5 ft. 6 in., medium build, fair complexion and hair; and Bill Day (no description available).

Christchurch. Bth instant, from a motor-cycle,- which was unlawfully .used and found abandoned near Motukarara, the property of WILLIAM THOMAS STEVENS, 82 Byron Street, Sydenham, a spot light, a motor-cycle pump, a green oilskin overcoat, a tool-box and tools, a battery, and two motor-cycle registration-numbers 22-387; total value, £l4 10s. Identifiable.

Christchurch. —7th ultimo, from Hereford Street, the property of WILTON JOHN MONTGOMERIE HAYWARD, 519 Barrington Street, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled freewheel Syme bicycle, No. 13054, upturned handles ; value, £4. Identifiable.

Dunedin. —9th ultimo, from the tramway shelter-shed, St. Clair, the property of MARY WALKER, 161 Castle Street, a brown attache-case, 18 in. by 16 in. ; a ladies’ silver huntingwatch, No. 818348, with leather chain attached ; a pair of gold-rimmed spectacles ; a rubber ball with “L. Lambden ” in ink thereon ; a door-key; a black kid bag with green on purple lining ; a brown leather purse ; and a receipt from Dooley, land agent, &c. : total value, £4 7s. Identifiable.
