SPECIAL NOTICE.

Auckland. —On the morning of the 12th instant the body of a newly born female child was found in a lavatory at Victoria Park. The body, which was that of a fully developed child who had evidently breathed, was wrapped in brown paper, and had been born probably about forty-eight hours previous to discovery. An attempt had apparently been made to destroy the body by fire. Any information regarding the parentage of the child is to be communicated to the Superintendent of Police, Auckland.
