Queen Street Wharf (Auckland). — 18th June last, from a waiting-room at the Auckland Rail way the property of JANE COLEMAN, Orakei, a cane-fibre suit-case with leather handle, containing a henna-coloured jersey, open front; a pair of gold-rimmed spectacles in case ; a nailbrush, with “Coleman” thereon ; a book entitled The Frontier,” with “A. T. Coleman” on it a small box containing a gold bar brooch ; a brooch set with a diamond spray ; a shamrock brooch made of wood ; a gold band ring, with “ J.C.” engraved thereon ; a gold wedding-ring; a pair of ladies’ tan woollen stockings; a hot-water bottle; handkerchiefs, &c. : total value, £ls. Masterton. —7th June last, from Bannister Street, the property of WILLIAM CORLETT, saddler, a gentlemen’s bicycle, ladies’ saddle, Michelin tire on front wheel; value, £5. Identifiable.

Wellington. — the 29th ultimo and the 2nd instant the dwelling of FRANK OAKES, 14 Oriental Terrace, was broken into, and the following stolen therefrom : A ladies’ old-fashioned gold hunting-watch, chased cases, gold dial, long granny-chain attached ; a plain round gold bangle, set with three stones with pearl in centre, one stone missing ; a polished oak case, blue-plush lining ; a silver-mounted set of carvers with white-bone handles ; a round gold medal, with “ Frank Oakes, Wellington Competing Society, 1924,” engraved thereon ; and two gold-mounted black-ebony conductor’s batons, one with “Frank Oakes ” engraved thereon and the other “D. Clark, Hokitika”: total value, £ls. Identifiable.
