Whangarei.— On or about the 17th ultimo, on warrant for obtaining credit by fraud, William Bryant, age about thirty-six, height about 5 ft. 6 in., labourer, thin build, fair complexion and hair, ginger moustache, thin features ; smart gait; plausible manner; fond of drink. Accused obtained credit to the amount of £6 10s. from Percy Whitlock, taxiproprietor, by fraud. There are other similar charges pending.

Newton. l2th April last, for indecent exposure, Man (name unknown), age about nineteen, height about 5 ft. 8 in., thin build, fair freckled complexion and hair; dressed in a dark suit, light-coloured soft-felt hat, and white rubber shoes. At 10.15 a.m. on above date, in Old Mill Road, Grey Lynn, accused indecently exposed himself within the view of Mary Currie, 15 Warwick Street, Kingsland. No warrant.

Auckland. — April last, on warrant for failing to comply with the terms of a maintenance order for the support of his wife, Muriel Lawrence, 24 Arakai Street, Grey Lynn, John Henry Lawrence, age forty-two, height 5 ft. in., cabinetmaker, native of England, strong build, fresh complexion, black hair, brown eyes ; dressed in a dark suit and felt hat. Te Kuiti. —2Bth January last, for theft of a bridle, value 155., the property of Alfred Milner, farmer, Wairere, Thomas Bennock, age thirty, height 5 ft. 7 in., farm labourer, native of New Zealand, medium build, dark complexion and hair, grey eyes ; dressed in brown riding-breeches, black leggings, and dark coat. Whilst driving cattle along Aria Road the accused removed the bridle off the fence and took it away. No warrant. c

Stratford. — Frederick Norman Lalor Walker, breach of probation : He is now wanted on warrant at Wanganui for obtaining credit for £3 3s. board and lodgings, from Mrs. Adelaide Cronin, boardinghouse-keeper, by fraudulently representing himself to be employed by the Beaumont Smith Film Company. Accused obtained £l5O from Annie Gray for a piano and furniture, which she falsely represented to be her own and unencumbered, whereas the Bristol Piano Company and Horace Edgar Bourgeous had an interest in the property. She may be accompanied by her husband (Albert Doyle, alias Alfred Doyle, referred to in Police Gazette, 1925, page 313), her daughter (age seventeen), and her two sons (ages sixteen and twelve respectively).
