Hobart (Tasmania).lnquiries arc requested for John William Hill, height 5 ft. 8 m., stoker, native of England, athletic build, fair complexion, curly fair hair, grey eyes, high forehead, broken crooked nose, clean-shaved, Chinese or Japanese woman on one arm, “ R. Newins ” and woman on the other arm ; bracelet on one wrist ; was for some time employed on the s.s. “ Riverina ” ; a boxing enthusiast, and frequents boxing-saloons. He has left his wife, Nellie Hill, and child without means of support. If any information is obtained regarding his whereabouts a communication is to be sent to the Commissioner of Police, Wellington, in whose office his photograph is filed. (P. 25/1574.)
