Sydney (New South Wales). —A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Mervyn Rupert Chippendall, charged that as a member of the co-partnership of W. H. Baker and Chippendall he did at Newcastle on the 16th August, 1924, steal £3OO, the property of the said co-partnership. Description : Age thirty, height 5 ft. 10 in., solicitor, stout build, fair complexion, fair hair brushed back, clean-shaved, full face ; well dressed in a light-coloured suit; has a peculiar movement
of head to right side as if afflicted with a form of St. Vitus dance ; fond of horse-racing. Defalcations said to amount to about £IO,OOO. If located an urgent communication is to be sent to the Commissioner of Pplicc, Wellington. (P. 24/1385.) s
