Queen Street Wharf (Auckland). — Between the 22nd and 24th September last, from a cabin on the s.s. “ Atua,” the property of WILLIAM GEORGE GORDON WINKLEMAN, fireman, a canvas suit-case, pink Roslyn underclothing, white cotton pyjamas, black-serge trousers, a white cotton shirt, ties, an ebony-backed military hair-brush, a safety razor, and pawn tickets, and a sailors kit-bag containing a pair of black brogue shoes, two suits of khaki overalls, a pair.of dark-serge trousers, and a blue-serge coat and vest: totabvj&lug, £l2. Identifiable.
Auckland. —Bth ultimo, from a motor-car in Newton Road, the property of STUART GARLAND, 14 Sharpe Road, a grey-painted Essex motor-car rim, with a 32 x 4 Goodyear tire with inner tube attached, and a black-painted iron bottle-jack with a folding handle ; total value, £l2. Identifiable.
Hamilton. —l4th September last, from outside King and Vincent’s workshop, the property of HENRY WILLIAMS, Drinsdale Street, Frankton, a gentlemen’s 24 in. bicycle, upturned handles with one grip ; value, £4. Identifiable.
Putaruru.— the 22nd October last and the. Bth ultimo, from a shed, the property of OKOROIRE TENNIS CLUB, twenty-four cups and saucers with gold band on rim of each, six cups and saucers with a blue band on rim of each, a Pennsylvania four-blade lawn-mower, and a Diamond Special five-blade lawn-mower ; total value, £9. Identifiable.

Linwood. —Between May last and the 19th -August last, from NORMAN McDOWELL’S dwelling at 538 Worcester Street, a plane, a brass-edged rule, four hammers, a benchvice, four padlocks, two axes,* a spade, a shovel, four rimlocks, a carpenter’s kit, two pruning-saws, a pair of pruningshears, a screw-wrench and pliers, a quantity of oil and paint, two screwdrivers, a file, eleven jars of marmalade, a bronze Stetson hat, and a New Zealand Military discharge certificate in frame in complainant’s name ; totjd value, about £ll Bs., Identifiable. Suspicion is attached to Melville McDowell, age forty-two, height 5 ft. 8 in., carpenter, native of New Zealand, medium build, fresh complexion, light-brown hair, grey eyes ; usually dressed in a dark suit and hard-felt hat, slightly stooped ; quiet manner.
Ravensbourne. —sth ultimo, from a paddock, the property of WILLIAM BARCLAY, storekeeper, a dark-bay five-year-old spring-cart gelding, 15£ hands, white blaze on face, white hind fetlocks, scar on off hind hofck, switch tail value, £ls. Identifiable. // 7//2A i>.
North-east Valley. —lst ultimo, from a washhouse at ROBERT GRAHAM’S dwelling at 42 Main Road, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled free-wheel 24 in. Union bicycle, upturned handles, rusty forks, crank slightly bent; value, £6. Identifiable.
