Palmerston North. llth May last, on warrant for theft of £147 16s. 9d., the property of the Taikitahuna Co-operative Dairy Company (Limited), Archie Henry Grant, age forty-two, height about 5 ft. 8| in., secretary, native of England, stout build, fair complexion, light-brown hair, blue eyes, cleanshaved ; dressed in a light-coloured suit and cap or felt hat and tan shoes ; wears pince-nez ; hangs head when walking. Accused, who was secretary of the above company, received the amount stated from Beattie and Co., Palmerston North, on terms requiring him to account for the same to his employers, but fraudulently omitted so to do. There are other charges pending.

Lower Hutt. 3oth September last, that a summons for being found in the Bellevue Hotel during prohibited hours may be served upon him, Lawrence Marchant, age about forty, height about 6 ft. 1 in., labourer and bushman, medium build, dark complexion and hair, brown eyes, scar on right cheek ; dressed in a grey suit and cap ; slovenly gait.

Lower Hutt. —3oth September last, that a summons for being found in the Railway Hotel during prohibited hours may be served upon him, Richard Hambler, age fifty-two, height about 5 ft. 7 in., labourer and slaughterman, native of England, stout build, fair complexion, brown hair, blue eyes, prominent cast in right eye; shabbily dressed in a dark suit and black soft-felt hat.

Wellington. — l6th instant, that he may be compelled to comply with the terms of a maintenance order for the support of his child, Herbert L. W.
