INQUIRIES, ETC., FROM OUTSIDE NEW ZEALAND.
Hob ae t (Tasmania). John Henry Hardy, alias Horace Oliver Hardy, is charged on warrant issued on sth instant, with deserting his wife, Vera Mary Hardy, and child, at Hobart. Description: Age thirty-two, height about 5 ft. 4 in., medium build, sallow complexion, black hair, large grey eyes, woman’s figure on one forearm (believed left) ; now believed to be in New Zealand. If located, he is not to be arrested, but a communication is to be sent to the Commissioner of Police, Wellington. (See Tasmania Police Gazette, 1920, page 54.)
