Inspector of Sea-fishing appointed. (See New Zealand Gazette, 1917, page 3342.) Constable William David Thompson, of Eastbourne, has been appointed an Inspector of Sea-fishing.

Promotion. No. 998. Constable George Scandrett is promoted to rank of Sergeant as from Ist September, 1916, in accordance with recommendation of Committee of luquiry under section 25 of the Police Force Act, 1913.
