Auckland. —2oth October, 1915, that he may be located, John Peter Dornbush, alias Thornbush, age about forty-six, height about 5 ft. 8 in., labourer, native of Germany, strong build, ruddy complexion, brown hair and moustache turning grey, blue eyes, round shoulders; usually dressed in a navy-blue-serge suit and tweed cap. He speaks good English, and has not got the appearance of a foreigner. He usually seeks employment at freezingworks. He is an enemy subject, and has failed to report himself to the police-.

Hamilton. —3rd July last, on warrant of commitment to New Plymouth Prison for seven days in default of paying £1 10s. fine and costs for a breach of his prohibition order, Sydney Charles Ross, alias Rossbetter, alias “Bronco Bill,” age twenty-three, height 5 ft. 7 in., labourer, native of New Zealand, medium build, dark hair and complexion, brown hair and eyes; usually dressed in singlet and trousers and cowboy hat; frequents buckjumping shows. Gisborne. — Walter Jackson, alias Wilson, failing to maintain his illegitimate child : It has been ascertained by the Wellington police that accused left New Zealand for Sydney by the s.s. “ Riverina ” on the loth June last. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 440.) (P. 16/714.)

Richardson ” written on lining of one pocket, and a pair of blaok military boots, size 11, total value £4, identifiable, the property of Charles Richardson (Sergeant, N.Z.M.G.), John Taylor, age thirty-five, height about 5 ft. 10in., labourer and soldier, medium build, fresh complexion, dark hair and moustache; well educated ; smart appearance ; fond of drink ; dressed in a dark-brown suit and dark-grey cap.

Wellington.— sth instant, that he may be located and warned if he fails to report himself in terms of his probation his license will be cancelled and he will be returned to prison, John Edward Blonquist, alias Blanquist, alias Skate, age thirty-eight, height 5 ft. 9f in., labourer, native of Finland, strong build, fresh complexion, grey hair, brown eyes, long nose, some front teeth missing, usually dressed in a darlc-tweed suit and overcoat, and cap. Te Aroha. —3rd ultimo, on warrant of commitment to Thames Police-gaol for twenty-one days in default of paying £2 3s. balance of fine and costs for obscene language, Janies Scobie Murray, alias Scott, age fortyfive, height 5 ft. 9Jin., labourer, native of Scotland, medium build, dark complexion, dark hair going bald, hazel eyes; usually dressed in a dark suit and cap or hard black hat; fond of drink. Wellington. —Bth instant, that he may be compelled to pay £23 10s. arrears due for the maintenance of Eileen MoAnally, an inmate of St. Joseph’s Orphanage, Upper Hutt, Charles McAnally, age forty, height 5 ft. in., labourer, native of New Zealand, medium build, fair complexion, auburn hair, blue eyes. Nelson. —2Bfch ultimo, on warrant of commitment to Nelson Police-gaol for twenty-four hours in default of paying Bs. fine and costs for drunkenness, George Miller, alias George Anderson Millar, age forty-four, height 5 ft. 8 in., seaman, native of England, medium build, fresh complexion, brown hair, blue eyes, scar over left eye, on right side of neck, and on back of head, right forefinger deformed ; usually dressed in a dark-brown suit and brown soft felt hat; talkativo; slovenly appearance. Christchurch.—24th ultimo, on warrant of commitment to Lyttelton Prison for one month in default of paying £9 arrears due on a maintenance order for the support of his wife, Henrietta Sandford, 20 Lower High Street, Samuel Sandford, age fifty-five, height 5 ft. lOJin., labourer, native of Ireland, slim build, fresh complexion, brown hair turning grey, grey eyes, large crooked nose ; slovenly appearance ; fond of drink.
