APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.
Auckland.—Lewis Jenkins, default of paying medical Expenses, has been arrested by Constable F. J. Blake, and lodged in prison. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 423.)
Thames. — Edmund Burke, alias Molly Burke, failing to pay fine and costs: Distress warrant executed by Constable J. Lander, Te Awamutu police, and amount paid. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 145.)
Hastings. — Albert Willis, default of fine, has been arrested by Constable Charles W. Tonkinson, Bluff pclioe, and amount paid. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 145.)
Palmerston North.— John alias Charles Osgood, alias Watson, assault, has been brought before the Court at Palmerston North, but the witnesses failed to identify him, and the case was dismissed. Offender is at present serving a sentence in the Wellington Prison for assault and robbery. (See Police Gazette, 1907, page 270, and 1909, page 532.)
Taihape.— Daniel Mclntyre, supplying liquor to a prohibited person, has been served with notice of fine by Palmerston North police. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 167.)
Shannon. — Edmund Bourke, alias Burke, default of fine, has been arrested by Constable J. Lander, Te Awamutu police, and lodged in prison. (See Police Gazette , 1910, page 116.)
Petone.— Daniel Cummings, default of fine, has paid the amount due to Constable W. Worsley, Islington police. (See Police Gazette , 1910, page 89.)
Wellington. — Samuel Simpson, default of maintenance, has been arrested by Constable Bevan, Wairoa police. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 168.)
Greymouth. — Charles Mcßride, default of fine, has been arrested by Constable S. J. Martin, Otira police, and amount paid. (See Police Gazette , 1910, page 182.)
Christchurch. — William Herbert Parker, default of fine, has been arrested by Constable J. F. Cleary, Christchurch police. (See Police Gazette , 1910, page 182.)
Lincoln. — William Henry Harris, absconder from industrial school, has been arrested by Detective A. A. Mitchell and Constable W. J. Quinn, Dunedin and Waimatc police, on a charge of having counterfeit coin in his possession, and has been remanded. He was going under the name of G. Allison. (See Police Gazette , 1910, page 125.)
Tasmania. — Edward John Tressider has been found by Detective A. Hammond, Wellington police, and requested to comply with the order for the maintenance of his child. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 28.)
