Auckland. — John Tompkins, alias Buckingham, deserter from H.M.S. “ Powerful,” has been arrested by Constable R. Lanigan, Papakura police, and discharged, as the Commander would not claim him for further service. (See Police Gazette, 1907, page 294, and 1909, page 256.)
Auckland. — John Boggs, default of fine : Amount paid to Sergeant McKinnon, Waihi police. (See Police Gazette 1909, page 161.)
Paeroa. — Peter Crosby, failing to pay fine and costs, has paid the amount 2<lue. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 245.)
Ohakune. — Albert Treves, wife-desertion, has been arrested by Detective Siddells and Constable Sweeney, Wanganui police, on information supplied by Constable Anniston, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 203.)
Eltham.— Thomas Lester, false pretences, has been arrested by Detectives Williams and Kemp, Wellington police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 182.)
Wanganui. — Peter O’Hara, wife-desertion, has been arrested by Detective Siddells and Constable D. Wilson, Wanganui police. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 27.)
Palmerston North.— Willis Wilson, default of fine and costs for attempted suicide, has been arrested by Constable George Murray, Hastings police, on information supplied bv Constable Le Fevre : Amount paid. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 461.)
Wellington. — Harry Wilson, default of maintenance, has been arrested by Acting-Detective Gibson, Christchurch police. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 174.)
Wellington.— William Bose, default of fine, has been arrested by Constable J. E. Robinson, Auckland police, and lodged in prison. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 224.)
Wellington. — Colin Hector Kempton and Virginia Marion Kempton, making false declaration under the Marriage Act, have been found in Wellington by ActingDetectives Abbott and Cameron, and summonses served on them. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 204.)

Christchurch.— Frederick Marshall, destroying the books of the United Farmers’ Coal Company, has been arrested by the Melbourne police on information supplied by Acting-Detective Ward, Christchurch police, and extradited to New Zealand. (See Police Gazette, 1909, pages 54 and 80.)
Christchurch. — Carrie Agnes Johnstone, escaping from Mount Magdala Reformatory Home, has been arrested by Constable D. Hannafin, Riccarton police, and returned to the Home. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 204.)
