APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Ongarue.— Donald A. Ross, default of fine, has been arrested by Constable P. J. McCarthy, Fraukton Junction police, and lodged in Auckland Prison. (See Police Gazette, 1902, pages 2 and 67.)

Hastings.— Thomas Watts, default of fine, has been arrested by Constable J. McAlister, Napier police. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 145.)

New Plymouth.— Harold Schwann, alias Wilson, wife-desertion, has been arrested by Constable C. Osborn, Rakaia police, and reman led. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 130.)

Feilding. — Vincent Maynard, false pretences, has been arrested by Detective Miller and Acting-Detective J. Powell, Auckland police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 146.)

Shannon. — Frank Arnold, default of fine, has paid the full amount due to Constable J. Esson, Shannon police. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 451.)

Levin. — Arthur Moriss, default of fine, has been arrested by Constable J. Bagrie, Levin police, and amount due paid. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 146.)

Mount Cook. — Patrick Ryan, default of fine, has been arrested by Constable H. McMahon, Christchurch police, and lodged in prison. (See Police Gazette, 1903, page 520.)

Christchurch. — Charles Leonard Hewson, default of maintenance, has been arrested by Constable C. Osborn, Rakaia police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 82, and 1909, page 118.)

Lyttelton. Nils Tharkelson and Oscar Bye, ship-desertion : Warrants cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 118.)

Lincoln. William Herbert* Borreen, absconding from industrial school, has been arrested by District Constable Torr and Constable W. Luke, Wairoa police, for theft. (See Police Gazette, 1906, page 285.)

Amberley.— Charles Winter, theft, has been arrested by Constable Pool, Southbridge police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 118.)

Rakaia. David Seeler, theft, has been arrested by Constable Glass, Temuka police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 146.)

Waikaia.— William Gaffey, default of fine, has paid the amount due to Constable Mackenzie, Owaka police. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 64.)

Invercargill. — Joseph Herbert Gwynne, default of maintenance, has been arrested by Constable Taylor, Palmerston South police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 108.)
