APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Warkworth. — George Robinson, theft of horse from William Grant, has been arrested by Constables E. Johnson and W. Eccles, Warkworth and Devonport police, and remanded. Horse not recovered. (See Police Gazette, 1907, page 322.)

Hawera. James Rainie, default of maintenance Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1907, page 291.)

Wanganui. — Edward Bentley, theft, has been arrested by Constable H. C. D. Wade, Taihape polioe, on information supplied by Constable J. Issell, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1907, page 291.)

Taihape.-— David alias Donald Stewart, alias Dair, sly-grog selling, has been arrested by Constable H. C. D. Wade, Taihape police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1907, page 72.)

Wellington. Charles McCauley, alias George Jones, theft, has been arrested by Detective J. Miller and Acting-Detective A. Shine, Auokland police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette , 1907, page 302.) Offender is identical with discharged prisoner, George Jones. (See Police Gazette, 1907, pages 29, 170, and 177.)

Wellington. — William Klein, disobeying maintenance order, has been arrested by Constable Le Fevre, Hastings police, and amount due paid. (See Police Gazette, 1907, page 235.)

Kaiapoi. — Miss Howard, child - desertion, has been found at Christchurch. (See Police Gazette, 1907, page 228.)

Lincoln. — Thomas James Garrick, absconding from industrial school, has been arrested by Constable 0. Lopdell, Dunedin police, and returned to the school. (See Police Gazette, 1906, page 393.)

Dunedin. — Frederick Thomas Dart, false pretences, has been arrested by Detective A. Cameron and Sergeant McGrath, Invercargill and Bluff police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1906, page 162.)

Dunedin. — Edward Henry Jarvis, default of maintenance, has been arrested by Constables H. C. D. Wade and J. Sweeney, Taihape police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1907, pages 292 and 330.)
