% Wanganui. —27th ultimo, the property of CHARLES HAMILTON KNOWLES, insurance agent, a gentlemen’s Rudge-Whitworth bicycle, No. 70072, turned-down handles, top of front fork black enamelled instead of nickel, well worn ; value, £B. Identifiable.

Mangaweka. —Between 15th October last and Ist January last, from the paddock of WILLIAM JOHN McCOARD, farmer, eighty mixed sheep (ewes and lambs and two-tooth mixed hoggets), fork out of point and punch-hole in left ear, and back piece out of right ear for ewes, and vice versa for wethers; value, £IOO. Identifiable. Suspicion attached to Pearl Gavnell, age nineteen, height 5 ft., a domestic, fair complexion, blue eyes, light-brown hair, red face, pug nose. Her present address is care of Mrs. Walters, Wingfield Street, Wellington.

Waitahuna. —Between 15th January last and Ist instant, the property of PATRICK COTTER, farmer, Greenfield, twenty-three half-bred lambs, seven tw'o-tooth crossbred wethers, twelve six- and eight-tooth crossbred ew 7 es. All branded with diagonal line through parallelogram on near shoulder ; some have “V ” out of top of off ear and slit on bottom of near ear : value, £42. Identifiable.
