Amberley (Canterbury). —Pound on the 3rd instant, on the sea-beach between Amberley and Leithfield, a shoulder and upper arm bone attached, lumbar vertebra;, pelvis, and thigh-bones, and the lower part of the left leg with foot; also a left shooter-boot, size 9, kip factory make, pegged, heel- and toe-plates, two rows of Hungarian nails on each side of sole and two rows in centre, brass eyelets, hooks in three upper holes broken off, a pair of grey-check tweed knickerbockers with two side pockets and one back pocket, and part of a pair of dark-brown woollen trousers. The boot and clothing have been retained by the Amberley police for identification.
