Description : A native of Denmark, a labourer, thirty-six years of age, 5 ft. 5 in. high, fair complexion, light-brown hair, hazel eyes, small mouth and chin, scars on left thumb and nose, foreign accent. Wellington. —Anthony Arrowsmith is charged on warrant with the theft, on the 21st ultimo, of £2O, money of John Latham, labourer, Peter Street. Description: Supposed colonial, about twenty-seven years of age, 5 ft. 2 in. or 3 in. high, medium build, very fair complexion, slight fair moustache only ; dressed in a light suit and hard black-felt hat. He left by the s.s. “Rotorua” for Lyttelton on the above date, in company with Mrs. Latham, complainant’s wife, her two daughters and a son, booking as Mr. and Mrs. Jones and family. Mrs. Latham is about thirty-six years of age, 5 ft. 4 in. high, fair complexion, dark hair; usually wears dark clothes. The girls are aged fourteen years and four years respectively, and the boy ten years. (See Police Gazette, 1899, page 21.) Wellington. —J. Frank Black, charged with the theft of £IOO, money of Charles Spencer Booth: This warrant has been cancelled.
