Helensville. William Morgan, Karangahape Road, Auckland, reports stolen from his farm, at Ararimu, between the 23rd and 30th ultimo, two coils of barbed wire ; value £2 12s.

Wellington. —Robert Hardie, carpenter, Abel Smith Street, reports stolen from some buildings in the same street, during the night of the sth instant, a pair of 7in. compasses, a lin. mortise-chisel (“ R. Hardie ” stamped on handle), a bevel-edged firmer ditto (ljin.), claw-hammer, screw-driver (2ft. long, very large handle), pair of 3.Jin. butt-hinges, and a packet of screws ; value 15s. Ranc.iora.—Mrs. Samuel Green, Masonic Hotel, Southbrook, reports stolen from off a hedge, on the 15th or 16th instant, four ladies’ white-calico nightgowns, four chemises, seven pairs of drawers, eight white-calico bodies, three toiletcovers, and three white aprons embroidered in the centre; value £3 10s. Two of the chemises and a pair of drawers are marked “ M. F. Green.”
