Information is requested respecting Finlay McLean, a native of Scotland, a shepherd, about fifty years of age, tall, rather grey. He was heard of at Wellington on the Ist instant. He formerly lived at Ashburton.

Information is requested respecting Thomas Murray Hope, a native of Scotland, thirty-two years of age. He was a medical student in Scotland. He left Scotland about seven years ago for this -colony. The ship by which he left was bound for Dunedin, but called at Wellington before going there. He is inquired for at the instance of Thomas Lawrie, Melrose, Scotland, through Mr. James Smith, Te Aro House, Wellington.

Information is requested respecting William Angus, a native of Scotland, a bootmaker, thirty-five years of age, about sft. 7in. high, medium build, sallow complexion, grey eyes, dark-brown hair, full dark-brown beard whiskers and

moustache, stoops much when walking; generally wears dark working-clothes. He arrived in the colony about six years ago by the ship “Nelson,” and lived for several years at Clyde. He was heard of at Dunedin on the 31st January last. He is inquired for so that he may be proceeded against for the support of his wife and family, who are in destitute circumstances at Dunedin.
